This tour was designed for people who want to experience the tropical island vibe of Vieques. The private tour ensures that you and your group can relax and enjoy the undisturbed beaches with only the company of your guide and your horses. Your views from the saddle include a famous 400 year old ceiba tree, tropical fruit trees, a mile long pier, and shallow coastline with clear lulling waves. Instagram worthy photos included.
Please wear comfortable clothing. Long pants or leggings are advised so that the saddle and stirrups do not rub your skin. Closed toed shoes are advised. We will spend time in the sun although we try not to go at the hottest time of day so please prepare with appropriate clothes or sunscreen.
Previous horseback riding experience is not necessary, but your experience level will set the speed of the tour. A lesson is included for those who need it at the start of the trip. Our horses are trained to remain at a walk until stimulated to pick up speed. If you have previous experience or are feeling comfortable during your tour, we would love to show you the unique gaits of Puerto Rican horses.
To secure a tour reservation, a credit card deposit of 50% will be secured. You may prepay the remaining balance, or pay when you arrive for the tour. We have a 48 hour cancellation policy for a full refund. Methods of payment include all major credit cards, cash, Venmo, ATH movil, or Paypal.
Is it safe?
We want you to have a safe and relaxing time riding with us. Helmets are provided. The horses are selected and trained especially for giving tours to riders of all experience levels. The best way that you can ensure your safety is to follow the guides instructions. Anyone who fails to do so will be removed from the tour for the safety of the group.
Can I rent a horse?
We think of our horses as an extension of our family, and therefore we do not rent them out. Luckily, our private tours are customized for your group's best possible experience.
What is the route of the tour?
Tours are led along the northern coast of Vieques, a small island of Puerto Rico. The remote beaches make great photos.
